Construction has begun on the Capital Eurocars/Crown Automotive Build!!
Construction has begun on the new home of Keisha Baker and family. This build is being sponsored by Capital Eurocars and Crown Automotive and is the second home being built in the Callen Neighborhood. Keisha and her family came out on Saturday, October 5th to work hand-in-hand with the Sponsor volunteers, Habitat Board members and construction staff. Thanks so much to all those at Capital Eurocars and Crown Automotive for helping make the dream of affordable homeownership a reality for the Baker family.
The Ruth and Les Akers Community Build has begun!!
Construction has begun on the future home of Shaunita Pompey and her family. The Ruth and Les Akers Community Build, sponsored by Ruth and Les Akers, is a community build utilizing volunteers from various community organizations that perhaps have not had an opportunity in the past to participate in a Habitat build, or who may have done so, but it has been a while. This build will provide an outstanding opportunity for organizations in this community to be introduced to our program. it will also allow BBHH to welcome back former friends into the fold.
We'd like to thank our build sponsors, Ruth and Les Akers, for their contribution and willingness to help the Pompey family realize the dream of homeownership.
Construction of this four bedroom/two bath home was sponsored by several contributors including Faith Presbyterian, Trinity United Methodist, First Presbyterian, Wildwood Presbyterian, Fellowship Presbyterian, Christ Presbyterian, Lafayette Presbyterian, Blessed Sacrament, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and the Greenburg Traurig law firm.
Thank you to all of our Sponsors and volunteers for helping make the dream of homeownership a reality for the Dugan Family!!
