Our organization seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. We seek to develop homes and communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended. As a community, we have many opportunities to accomplish this mission. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together in partnership to help build houses with families in need.

Construction experience is welcome, but not necessary; you don't have to be a carpenter or craftsman to play a part. Among many other essential tasks, help is necessary in selecting families who need houses, working with the affiliate committees, organizing fund-raising events or arranging for meals at the work site. Habitat for Humanity is a gift from the heart. As you feel the need to contribute, please do so, since your support is essential to the organization.
